Returns Policy Overview

If for any reason you are unhappy with a school uniform item purchased from School Trends, you may return it to us within 14 days of delivery for a full refund.

Items must be:

  • Unused and in a re saleable condition
  • With original tags attached
  • In original packaging

Please note that the cost of returning items to us is the responsibility of the customer unless the item is faulty or incorrect.

Personalised Items

Items that include a personalised name or initials, alongside the school logo, can only be returned if they are found to be faulty.

If you need a replacement item, we recommend placing a new order online. This is the quickest way to make sure your child receives their uniform as soon as possible.

Faulty or Incorrect Items

If we have made a mistake, we are very sorry.

To help us resolve the issue quickly, please include clear photos and any relevant documentation when contacting us. This allows our team to investigate and put things right without delay.

The cost of return postage will be refunded if:

  • The item is faulty
  • The wrong item was sent due to an error on our part

 

How to Return Your Items

To help us process your return as smoothly as possible, please follow these steps:

  1. Include all paperwork received with your order, along with your order number and a reason for return.
  2. Wrap the uniform item securely. Reusing the original packaging where possible is ideal.

We recommend using Royal Mail 2nd Class Tracked so your parcel can be tracked. This typically costs around £4.05.

 

Proof of Postage

Always obtain proof of postage from the Post Office.

Unfortunately, we cannot be responsible for items that do not reach us without proof of posting, and refunds cannot be issued in these cases.

 

Refunds and Processing Times

Once your return has been received and checked, we will notify you by email.

Please allow up to 10 working days from receipt of the returned item for your refund to be processed. Refunds cover the value of the uniform item only. Original delivery charges are applied at the normal rate and are non refundable.

Exchanges and Unwanted Items

Return postage costs cannot be refunded for exchanges or unwanted items.

 

Failed Deliveries

If your order is returned to us due to a failed delivery attempt by Royal Mail or our courier, we will re send the order once free of charge.

If you choose not to have the order re delivered after this second attempt, we will issue a refund minus the original delivery charge.
