Walton On The Hill Primary School, Walton Street, Walton On The Hill, Tadworth, Surrey, KT20 7RR
At Walton on the Hill Primary School we believe that smart school uniform is an important element of what makes our school successful. By being smart and having respect for one’s appearance it will undoubtedly add to the positivity we experience in the classroom and around school. Our school uniform policy does not discriminate in any way based on gender, race, disability, sexual orientation or belief. We would never wish to suppress individuality but for the following reasons uphold the value of a whole school approach to uniform:
Why wear a Uniform?
'When we go on a school trip we all look the same and so can't get lost'.
Stops kids worrying about what to wear each day.
Everyone is equal.
Parents don't have to shop for expensive and varied wardrobes for their children to keep up with or show-off to other children.
Wearing a uniform instils a sense of pride and discipline in students
We ask that all children wear the uniform and encourage them to maintain a good standard of clean and tidy dress in school.
The uniform is designed to be practical, maintainable and good value for money.
Parents are asked to ensure that all items are labelled clearly with their child’s name.
For health reasons it is important that children are properly dressed for physical activity.
Please see our school website for further details of the School Uniform and PE Kit policies.
