Year 7

BOYS

House School Tie
White button to the neck shirt
Charcoal grey trousers
Navy blazer with badge
Navy v necked jumper
Black leather or composite shoes (NOT canvas)
Black, navy or dark grey overcoat long enough to cover blazer.

GIRLS

House School Tie
Button to the neck white blouse
School Kilt
Navy blazer with badge
Navy v necked cardigan or jumper
Black or navy hairband or hair tidy
Black or navy tights or socks
White socks
Black leather or composite shoes (NOT canvas)
Black, navy or dark grey overcoat long enough to cover blazer.

YEARS 8 to 11

Boys may continue to wear a black blazer
Girls may continue to wear the navy striped skirt while stocks last
Both sexes may wear the striped or upper school tie until they can change to the new House Tie
No girl, unless in Year 11 2012-13 can wear an open necked white shirt without a tie
Rules about overcoats are as above.

The following is a list of items that are not allowed. Please note that the final decision with regard to acceptable uniform lies with the Head Teacher and the House Leaders.

A scarf which is not black, navy or dark grey.
A “hoodie” interpreted as a garment with a hood made of combed cotton and not waterproof.
Short leather or faux leather jackets.
Make up
Nail varnish
Extreme dyed hair
More than one pair of discreet stud earrings for girls, no earrings for boys.
Canvas shoes
Shoes with inserts or logos or those which resemble trainers.
Hair bands/slides of any colour other than navy or black.
