School Trends working with charity

School Trends are proud to have recently worked with giving partner 'The White Rose Initiative', based in Huddersfield, whose main work is the aid and support of the city of Sighisoara Romania and surrounding villages.

We recently supported the charity by sending dozens of clothing filled care packages to the lovely children of the 7 Noiembrie School in Romania. The clothing that we supplied was brand new discontinued stock and included Sweatshirts, Polo Shirts, Winter Coats, Hats and T-Shirts...Book Bags too!

The charity has been working with the children of the 7 Noiembrie School and families in the surrounding village which is in an area of severe deprivation. Most of the accommodation in this area is without electricity or running water and the people of the village have little chance of improvement.

Through the charities incredible work school attendance has grown from 12 children to over 120, this is due to the support given to the families who receive aid from the children's attendance. Many of the children from this school have since reached the grades necessary to move to high school (previously unheard of) and go on to find real meaningful employment due to their school attendance.

School Trends are proud to have contributed to this fantastic cause and look forward to supporting more schools like this in the future.
